Activity Program Workshop
Programming for Individuals with Early Stage Dementia

This workshop is geared for activity professionals and direct care staff involved in enhancing the quality of life of individuals living with dementia. Through interactive sessions, participants will gain insight on ways to design recreation programs to increase participation as well as develop an understanding of the needs of individuals faced with early stage dementia. We are pleased to have Candy Yingling, CTRS of The Alzheimer’s Association as our presenter.
Who should attend? Activity Directors and Support Staff, Nursing Assistants, Allied Health Professionals, Volunteers, Senior Center Directors and Support Staff.

12:00– 1:00 Lunch provided 1:00-4:30 Workshop
PAPA Members $25.00 — Non-Members $40.00
Participants will receive 6.0 hours of CEU’s from the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals. Participants will receive a certificate of participation.
